RADNOR STREET 24/03/2016

I was born on the 24/12/1944, and lived at 4/29 Radnor Street. My maternal grandparents lived in Norton Street, for some time, in between the junctions of Radnor Street, and Park Road. I had an aunt whose family name was Taylor, who lived in the back houses of Park Road, and in fact their back of the house adjoined ours. I attended Benson Road School from infants to juniors until 1956 when I went to  Moseley Grammar School. I played football for the school, I have a photo somewhere. I went to the cubs and scouts at Bishop Latimer, and later joined the 14th Boys Brigade. Our family left Radnor Street and went to live in Bearwood when I was 15. However I travelled back to meet up with friends such as Alan Gibbs, Barry Taylor, Graham Field and others.      Regards  ALLEN HUGHES     allen@ajhughes.fsbusiness.co.uk
